Player and coach development
In the 2026 season, our club will continue to prioritise the development of both players and coaches through structured, high-quality programs across all levels. Central to this approach is our strategic partnership with Strike Sports and Thelo Active Therapy, which will enhance access to specialist coaching, performance development, and athlete wellbeing support.
Through these partnerships, players will benefit from improved skill development, physical preparation, and injury prevention strategies, while coaches will be supported with education, mentoring, and best-practice resources. By aligning with industry professionals, the club aims to deliver consistent, evidence-based development pathways that support long-term performance, participation, and enjoyment of the game.
Volunteering
Volunteers are the backbone of our club, and in 2026 we will actively support and recognise the vital role they play. We will focus on creating clear, manageable volunteer roles, providing appropriate training and support, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive volunteer culture. The club will continue to recognise and value volunteer contributions through regular communication, appreciation initiatives, and opportunities for involvement in club decision-making, ensuring volunteering remains rewarding and sustainable.
Development of our female program
The continued growth and development of our female program will be a key focus for the 2026 season. We are committed to providing equal opportunities, quality coaching, and appropriate resources for female players across all age groups. The club will work to strengthen participation pathways, support the development of female coaches and leaders, and promote a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment. Through targeted investment and community engagement, we aim to support the long-term growth and success of female participation within our club.
Fees for the 2026 season will be communicated via TeamApp prior to the registration period opening in the first half of February.
Club fees are set annually having regard to prevailing market rates, Football Australia and Football Victoria (FV) regulatory and insurance requirements, and the actual costs of delivering a safe, high-quality soccer program for our players. The Committee carefully reviews all costs each year and aims to keep fees competitive and reflective of value, while ensuring the Club remains sustainable and well-governed.
Payment of your fees contributes to the following:
Football Australia and Football Victoria (FV) registration, regulatory fees and insurances;
All gameday costs, including referee fees and competition charges for the full season;
A full MPSC-branded playing kit, including playing shirt, shorts and socks, plus a kit bag and other included items;
Coaching, player development and wellbeing initiatives, including access to player support resources through our strategic partnerships with Strike Sports and Thelo Active Therapy; and
Ongoing ground usage, equipment, administration and operational costs required to run the Club across MiniRoos, junior and senior programs.

A positive and respectful attitude
While team allocation is primarily based on year of birth, we recognise that every player develops at a different pace. In the MiniRoos phase (U7–U11), Football Victoria permits Clubs - within reason - the flexibility to move children between age groups to suit their technical ability. For other unique circumstances, formal dispensation requests can be submitted to Football Victoria for assessment.
Below, is a summary of the age groupings for Season 2026 based on player's year of birth:
Born in 2008 - Under 18
Born in 2009 - Under 17
Born in 2010 - Under 16

To be registered with Football Victoria for the 2026 season, each team must have the following roles filled:
Coach;
Assistant Coach; and
Team Manager.
Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers will be supported via our strategic partnerships with Strike Sports and Thelo Active Therapy. To ensure the smooth operation of each team, teams will only be registered with Football Victoria once these roles are filled. Club fee discounts are available for Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers.
The roles of Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager are not intended to be onerous. These roles are shared, supported by the Club and are essential to the smooth operation of each team.
We ask that parents across the Club assist where they can, whether by taking on an official role or by helping in smaller ways throughout the season. A strong, supportive parent group helps ensure a positive, well-run environment for our players, coaches and volunteers.
Training may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. Any cancellations or changes will be communicated via TeamApp, sometimes at short notice.
